Aberdeen Yard Solutions LLC was founded with 3 goals in mind.  First, we strive to provide a full range of superior yard and lawn solutions and services at affordable rates to the residents of Aberdeen, South Dakota and the surrounding area.  Secondly, we are committed to professionalism, timeliness and working efficiently while keeping the communication with our clients clear and concise.  Thirdly, we want you to leave the work to us so that you can sit back and enjoy your outdoor living spaces.

As a 4th generation resident and contributor to our great community, we are a home grown, family owned business which aims to exceed the expectations of our clientele.  We are committed to building long term working relationships with our clients by providing the highest standard of quality on each and every project that we do.

About the Owner

Growing up I spent many summers days at the family farm playing in the dirt, driving tractors with Grandpa, chasing and getting chased by cattle and simply enjoying the farm life with my Grandparents. Getting up when the roosters crowed and spending the day helping do whatever needed to be done. Growing up in Aberdeen, I attended the public school system and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern State University in 2000. After graduation, I spent 12 years specializing in website development and online marketing. I then took on a new challenge of Development Director at our local Boys & Girls Club where I am currently employed.

I have always had an interest in turf management, lawn care and landscaping which I credit to my experiences on the farm. When my Grandfather retired he moved into Aberdeen and my Uncle took over the farm. I would still spend many weekends at the farm as I grew older and also spent a lot of time at my Grandparents homes in Aberdeen mowing their lawns and helping around the yard. Of course there was some compensation involved, but I feel that having farming in my blood is where my true passion grew from.

After 20 years of working behind a desk I decided to follow my passion for obtaining beautiful lawns and landscaping and went into business for myself, evenings and weekends, in October of 2020 to not only bring additional beauty to your property and our community but to also bring in additional income for my family.  My daughters and I have our roots planted here in Aberdeen. This venture is also an opportunity to provide my daughters with experience and knowledge in entrepreneurship.
